Zach Collins will not be available for the Portland Trail Blazers for the rest of the season. The third-year big man will undergo a season-ending ankle surgery, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Collins exited the Western Conference play-in game against the Memphis Grizzlies with a left ankle injury. The Blazers’ forward/center has also missed a big chunk of the season with a shoulder injury he suffered in October.

Now, he will miss the rest of the year with Portland facing the Lakers in the first round of the 2020 NBA playoffs. Wenyen Gabriel is expected to remain in the regular rotation in the next games for Portland.

The Blazers will face the Lakers for Game 3 of the first round series between the two.
