The Portland Trail Blazers big man Zach Collins will undergo follow-up MRI to determine what’s going on with his left ankle.

Collins was ruled out for Game 1 against the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday night with ‘left ankle inflammation’. After Wednesday’s practice, Portland’s head coach gave an update on his center’s injury.

He is having a follow-up MRI today to be evaluated and we’ll be sending out an injury report later today. – Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts said Wednesday,” per NBC Sports.

Collins returned from a shoulder injury he suffered in the start of the 2019-2020 season. The Blazers’ big man has career averages of 5.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game in his first three seasons in the league.
