DeAndre Ayton has his ups and downs in his first two years in the NBA. The talented big man had been suspended for 25 games earlier this season due to drug NBA Policy Violation.

Ayton returned to the court in December and helped the Suns become an 8th-seed contender, with Phoenix being unbeaten in the NBA “bubble” in Orlando.

The Suns’ sophomore joined “The Woj Pod” to talk on the Suns unbeaten run in Florida, his growth and his suspension earlier this season.

In particular, Ayton was surprised by Monty Williams’ reaction to his failed drug test, with the sophomore comparing Williams to a reverend. Also, the young center praised the team’s stance in the situation, as his teammates, the coaching staff and the front office made him feel like he was still part of the team, despite not being able to play.

Here is the full 38-minute talk between DeAndre Ayton and Adrian Wojnarowski.
