On July 30, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers emerged victorious in a 103-101 win over cross-city rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers. The game was the second in a double-header as the NBA’s regular-season resumed in Disney World, Orlando.

Throughout the back-and-forth game, the Lakers were mainly led by Anthony Davis (34 points), but James came up clutch when it mattered. Converting off his own miss to put the purple and gold up by 2 with 12 seconds remaining. Before playing suffocating defense on both Clippers superstars, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, as the contest expired.
