Veteran sports media personality Stephen A. Smith and retired NBA player-turned-TNT analyst Charles Barkley debate which NBA MVP candidate should take home the honor between the Los Angeles Lakers point forward LeBron James and reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo:

In 57 games so far this season, Antetokounmpo is averaging 29.6 points, 13.7 rebounds, 1.0 steal, 1.0 block and 5.8 assists per game, while shooting at 54.7 percent from the field and 30.6 percent from three.

Meanwhile, James is averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.2 steals, 0.4 blocks and 10.6 assists per game, while shooting at 49.8 percent from the floor and 34.9 percent from deep in 60 games.

This season’s MVP will be determined based on games played up to when the league was suspended in March.
