The Nets beat the Spurs 124-119 in their scrimmage in Orlando.

Brooklyn bounced back after getting crushed by 31 points against the Pelicans in their previous scrimmage game.

Caris LeVert had 27 points in 22 minutes. Tyler Johnson had 17 points as he gets adjusted to his new team. Rodions Kurucs also had 17 points. He will likely get more playing time as numerous Nets are out because of injuries and coronavirus.

Joe Harris scored 12 points and is healthy after he suffered an ankle injury before the season was suspended.

Jarrett Allen had 10 points and 11 rebounds for his second consecutive double-double.

Chris Chiozza also played well, finishing with four points, seven assists and seven rebounds. He could be Brooklyn’s starting point guard with Kyrie Irving and Spencer Dinwiddie out.

The Nets will need to form chemistry quickly in order to make the postseason and this scrimmage was an encouraging sign.
