The New Orleans crushed the Brooklyn Nets in their scrimmage. The final score was 99-68.

The Pelicans looked impressive even though Zion Williamson didn’t play. The Nets were in a disarray in an ugly performance.

Jarrett Allen was a bright spot for Brooklyn in a rough game. He finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Allen will look to show the team he deserves to start over fellow center DeAndre Jordan next season.

Caris LeVert struggled and shot 5-18.

While this was just a scrimmage, it shows the Nets have will have an uphill battle to the postseason. They are without Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Deandre Jordan, Spencer Dinwiddie, Wison Chandler, Taurean Prince and Nicolas Claxton.

Brooklyn signed a number of replacement players and they will have to form chemistry quickly in order to make the postseason. The Nets are currently seventh in the East. They are 1/2 game ahead of the Orlando Magic and six games ahead of the Washington Wizards.
