San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon switched roles with head coach Gregg Popovich for the team’s first scrimmage in Orlando.

A masked Popovich served as Hammon’s assistant for the game.

The Spurs will rotate head coaches for their three scrimmage games, according to ESPN’s Malika Andrews.

Hammon has been considered a candidate for a head coaching job in the future and could become the first female head coach in NBA history.

Popovich is considered one of the best coaches on and off the court for reasons like this, giving his assistants the chance and opportunity to grow.
