Linas Kleiza has reportedly agreed terms with EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and should finalize the move in coming days.
Despite being best paid player in Europe last season with a salary of 3.5 million euros per season, Kleiza hasn’t delivered matching performances on the court.
Fenerbahce used the clause to terminate contract of Lithuanian forward making him a free agent this summer.
Although Kleiza won’t get a deal as good as he had in Turkey, he should remain among the top earners in Euroleague. Kleiza will not be with Lithuanian national team this summer due to the need to fully recover.
Ambitious Milan side hopes to assemble a team capable of making the next leap – reaching Final Four after missing last season’s even which was staged on their own court.
