The Oklahoma City Thunder are looking to make waves in these playoffs. Building chemistry will be crucial. The team got an important player back in Andre Roberson. Also, it seems like young players that will be necessary for a rebuild are developing. Nerlens Noel says post-COVID, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s game has developed.

Gilgeous-Alexander came over in the Paul George trade with the Los Angeles Clippers. With that being said, his development is very important to earn compensation for the trade. The Thunder are the fifth seed as of right now, so Gilgeous-Alexander will get much-needed playoff experience.

According to Brandon Rahbar of the Daily Thunder, Noel said about Gilgeous-Alexander:

“I don’t think y’all have even seen it yet. What I’ve noticed from Shai post Covid. The game has really slowed down for him. I think this next stretch of the playoffs will show his maturity and how he’s grown.”

Gilgeous-Alexander is one of the rising stars in this league. This is a chance for his game to excel. The chance to play in these games will grow a lot of players because of the mental toughness necessary to maintain consistent play. The Orlando games could display future superstars and Gilgeous-Alexander is one of them.
