Anthony Davis explained why his teammate in the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James, should win the NBA MVP award this season.
James and reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo are the favorites to win the award.
“The things he’s doing at his age. He’s playing like one of his best years. Top team in the West. The things he’s able to do on the floor, especially when everybody was saying he washed and should hang it up and all this.
Then just even be in this race at his age at this point in his career and for me to see it every night and the things he does on a consistent basis.
Not in stretches – three games here and four games there, but he does it every night. He’s been doing it his whole career. I think it’s a good argument for him to be MVP,” Davis told reporters, via Ryan Ward of Clutchpoints.
