With the news that the NBA restart will not count towards regular season awards, it seems the Los Angeles Lakers point forward LeBron James would be hard-pressed to stack up next to the Milwaukee Bucks small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo in the MVP race.

Veteran sports media personality Chris Broussard joins Nick Wright to discuss who they believe are the top players of the 2019 season, and why they agree Antetokounmpo absolutely deserves the MVP award over James.

Plus, Wright unveils his 1st, 2nd, and 3rd NBA teams, including players like guard James Harden from the Houston Rockets, forward Kawhi Leonard from the Los Angeles Clippers, forward Jayson Tatum from the Boston Celtics and more:

In 57 games so far this season, Antetokounmpo is averaging 29.6 points, 13.7 rebounds, 1.0 steal, 1.0 block and 5.8 assists per game, while shooting at 54.7% from the field.

Meanwhile, James is averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.2 steals, 0.4 blocks and 10.6 assists per game, while shooting at 49.8% from the floor in 60 games.
