Gregg Popovich admitted he is not too concerned with the San Antonio Spurs advancing to the playoffs in the restart of the NBA.
The legendary head coach is prioritizing growth over immediate success in the team.
“For us in our specific situation, development is more important than anything. I’m not too concerned with trying to figure out how to match up with the Lakers or Clippers or Celtics or Raptors or Rockets or Nuggets or anybody else,” Popovich said, via Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News.
