New Orleans Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry has been cleared to travel with the team to the Orlando “bubble” for the season restart.

Gentry, 65, was one of the coaches undergoing further scrutiny before heading into the “bubble”.

The Pelicans will be without associate head coach Jeff Bzdelik after he decided to stay home and work remotely after consulting with team doctors.

Houston Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni, 69, is among those who are still waiting to be cleared, although there is optimism that he will be, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Pelicans leave for Orlando today, while the Rockets leave for Orlando on July 9.
