The new head coach of Barcelona, Sarunas Jasikevicius, addressed the possibility of Pau Gasol joining the Catalans.
“Many names are popping out but everybody understands we can only comment when a move is official. I am very close to Pau. Signing him wouldn’t hurt us,” Jasikevicius told reporters, via Eurohoops.net.
Gasol, who turns 40 today, is still recovering from a foot injury and wants to return to action soon.
