The Utah Jazz All-Star center Rudy Gobert revealed he has not yet recovered 100% from Covid-19. The French center said his smell is still not 100% back to normal, as he admitted in an interview with L’Equipe.
“The taste has returned, but the smell is still not 100%. I can smell the smells, but not from afar. I spoke to specialists, who told me that it could take up to a year,” Gobert said, per NBC Sports.
The Jazz center was the first known player to test positive for the coronavirus in the NBA on March.
While he had a mild case of the disease, it really is quite interesting that the 28-year-old athlete is still experiencing some effects from it.
Gobert is expected to play for the Utah Jazz in the NBA restart on Orlando.
