Former NBA champion and Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce made a bold statement about his former team. According to him, the Celtics have the best starting five in the NBA.

The Celtics’ starting five includes Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Gordon Hayward and Daniel Theis. Walker and Tatum were All-Stars this season.

“I agree with what Jalen said. Boston poses the best threat, and not because I played for Boston. When you look at their roster, Jayson Tatum started playing like a superstar before this work stoppage. In my opinion, Boston has the best starting five in the NBA,” The Truth said on ESPN’s Countdown.

Boston will enter the season resumption as the third seed in the Eastern Conference with 43 wins and 21 losses, just behind the reigning champions Toronto Raptors (46-18).
