The San Antonio Spurs are signing free agent center Tyler Zeller for the rest of the season, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Zeller’s deal with the Spurs includes a non-guaranteed second year in 2020-2021, Shams Charania notes.

He has not played in the NBA this season after only playing a total of six games last season for the Atlanta Hawks and Memphis Grizzlies.

With the loss of LaMarcus Aldridge for the season’s return-to-play, Zeller will add veteran experience, as well as some depth in the front court for the Spurs.

The 30-year old has career averages of 7.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
