In the wake of reports that the Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is out of shape, the Mavs posted on Twitter a photo of the Slovenian doing “light work” in the weight room.
The teams owner Mark Cuban saw the tweet and responded to it. “This is the the lite part of the workout for Luka Doncic #beastmode #workingforgreatness,” he tweeted.
Doncic, who became an All-Star this season, is averaging 28.7 points, 9.3 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game for the Mavericks.
Dallas is currently 7th in the Western Conference 40-27). They are one of two teams in the West that have not yet qualified for the playoffs. The other team is the Memphis Grizzlies. Unlike Memphis, the Mavs are much closer to securing a playoff spot as they have 8 wins more than the Grizzlies.
