We all remember from “The Last Dance” how severely unpaid Hall Of Famer Scottie Pippen was. The legend was making $18 million over a 5-year span which ranked 122nd in the league! On the other hand, while on the Trail Blazers, Pippen earned a little over $15 million a year. Pippen had some spending money, but did not spend very wisely.
Pippen, in 2003, reportedly purchased a Gulfstream Jet for $4.3 Million dollars which didn’t work! Pippen didn’t know this prior to the purchase, but he would eventually have to pay $1 million dollars for it to be able to work. Flying luxurious would have to wait.
