The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) is in total agreement with the NBA’s plan to return to play with a 22-team format in Orlando.

The league’s Board of Governors approved the move on Thursday but there was still a need for it to be approved by the Players Association, which is headed by Oklahoma City Thunder star point guard Chris Paul.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported on Friday that the plan was approved by all 28 player representatives during a call.

The NBPA Has Also Informed Players Of NBA’s Testing Strategy

Charania also reports that the NBPA has informed players of the league’s plans to test everyone at the Orlando venue for COVID-19 on a nightly basis. Anyone who tests positive will be placed in quarantine for a minimum of seven days.

Players were told they are to remain on the Disney World campus in Orlando at all times; no tracking devices will be used.
