Philadelphia 76ers superstar Ben Simmons called the President of United States Donald Trump’s words and actions “cowardly” referring to the latest comments made by him for the protests, which are taking place all over the country after George Floyd’s death in police custody.
President Trump threatened to utilize the 1807 Insurrection Act to deploy the U.S. military against rioters later on his Monday’s address in the Rose Garden.
Simmons tweeted after midnight Tuesday condemning Trump’s stance toward the protests and calling people to not let “messages of hate and divide draw their attention”.
