The majority of the EuroLeague players is not willing to return to action and finish the season amid the coronavirus pandemic.

On Saturday, EuroLeague Basketball held a meeting via teleconference with a total of 36 players. Two players from each team (the captain and a senior player of the squad) participated in the meeting.

The league presented its plan for the resumption of the season and the safety and health guidelines that will be followed. Yet, the majority of the players expressed their concerns for their return to action, due to the risk of getting injured and/or contracting the coronavirus.

The final decision for the resumption of the season will be announced on Monday, May 25.
