PRINTEZIS EXTENDS DEAL WITH OLYMPIACOS

Olympiacos have confirmed that forward Georgios Printezis has signed a new deal with the club that keeps him with the Reds until 2017.

Printezis, who famously hit the game-winner for Olympiacos in the 2012 Euroleague title game against CSKA Moscow, joined his boyhood club at 15, making his debut just two years later.

The Greek international has had brief spells at Olympia Larissa and Unicaja Malaga but is a fan favourite with the Greek giants.

BROSE BASKETS LAND THOMPSON

Brose Baskets have signed free scoring import Ryan Thompson from Oostende.

Thompson averaged 16.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists last season and joins Bamberg as the former Beko BBL champions look to rebuild after losing out in the first round of the Playoffs last season.

ZACH RANDOLPH STAYS IN MEMPHIS

Expected to happen but it is now confirmed that Zach Randolph has exercised his player option and will remain with the Memphis Grizzlies for the upcoming 2014-15 season.

Double-double machine Randolph has signed a multi-year deal with the Grizzlies. Last season he averaged 17.4 points and 10.1 rebounds.

MILES TO KUBAN?

Aaron Miles is being linked with a move to Lokomotiv Kuban, Russian media have reported.

Miles has left Samara, where he averaged 8.4 points, 8.4 assists and 6 rebounds with them last season.

KIEV NAME CHERNEY AS HEAD COACH

Budivelnik Kiev has named Vitaliy Cherney as their new head coach, as confirmed Ukrainian journalist, Oleksandr Proshuta.

Cherney joins the domestic champions on a 3-year deal.
