Valencia’s Justin Doellman has been named the Orange Liga Endesa MVP for the 2013-14 season.

American forward, Doellman was voted as the Spanish league’s MVP, after he guided them to one of their best seasons in recent memory as Valencia finished second in the Liga Endesa and helped them win this season’s Eurocup and qualification to next season’s Euroleague.

Domestically, Doellman averaged 15 points and 4.4 rebounds a game as Valencia ended the regular season as runners-up with Real Madrid advancing as the top seed. Valencia, led by Doellman inflicted a first defeat of the season on the giants from Madrid.

Doellman’s form throughout this season has been consistent, in both the Liga Endesa and during Valencia’s victorious Eurocup campaign this season, where he picked up Finals MVP honours for that as well. The American was also included in league’s First Team, along with team-mate Romain Sato and Real Madrid’s Sergio Rodriguez, Rudy Fernandez and Nikola Mirotic.

Valencia enter the Liga Endesa Playoffs with the number two seed and will play Cajasol Seville in the first round.
