Daryl Morey, GM of the Houston Rockets, believes his team is ‘destined to win the championship this year’.
Morey took to Twitter and retweeted the discussion between Rachel Nichols, Tracy McGrady and Richard Jefferson on Shaquille O’Neal’s opinion that any title would have an asterisk next to it. Not one of them agreed with O’Neal’s opinion.
For his part, Morey said the 2019/20 season is their time because of this “asterisk”. The Rockets won back-to-back titles 25 years ago (1994, 1995).
