Pau Gasol opened up about the back-to-back titles with the Los Angeles Lakers (2009, 2010) and explained what made that team special.
Gasol helped the Lakers play in three straight NBA Finals (2008-2010) and won the title twice.
“Different things, but it’s the strength of every individual and having two of the greatest people in Phil Jackson and Kobe as great leaders. I feel like the mix of players and how we complemented each other.
Everyone fulfilled their role at the highest level, and I think that’s what we strived for on our team,” Gasol told Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints.
