Former NBA champion and current analyst Kendrick Perkins asked his followers on Twitter who they would pick between Ja Morant and Trae Young. He also shared his own take.
“It’s very close but I gotta give the edge to Trae Young. He’s 3rd in the league in scoring and 2nd in assists!!!” Perkins tweeted.
The Atlanta Hawks star is averaging 29.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 9.3 assists per game in his sophomore season. Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies rookie is averaging 17.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.9 assists.
