Former Los Angeles Lakers guard Shannon Brown was arrested last week for allegedly firing a gun at two people who entered his home.

Brown, whose Georgia home is currently listed for sale, thought the two people were breaking in.

The couple said they were looking for homes and came across Brown’s with a “for sale” sign on it.

After Brown confronted them when they got inside, he fired five or six gunshots in their direction.

Police said an investigation revealed one empty shell casing.

Brown was subsequently charged with aggravated assault.

No one was injured during the incident, according to police spokesman Lt. Philip Nelson.

Brown bonded out of jail on May 4.

The 34-year-old won two championships with the late great Kobe Bryant Lakers teams in 2009 and 2010.
