The NBA has today announced that there will be five pre-season games being played in four countries in October with Berlin, Germany and Istanbul, Turkey the focus of the European scene.
Brazil and China are the other two countries that will stage pre-season encounters.
The Brooklyn Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, Sacramento Kings and the San Antonio Spurs are the five teams that will feature in these five fixtures with the Spurs heading to Europe to face Alba Berlin at the O2 World in the German capital on October 8 and Fenerbahce at the Ulker Sports Arena in Istanbul on October 11, as TalkBasket reported on Wednesday.
The Cleveland Cavaliers will face off against the Miami Heat at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on October 11 as Cavs center Anderson Varejao will play his first game in his home country.
The tour concludes with two fixtures between the Nets and the Kings at the MasterCard Center in Beijing, China on October 12 and 15.
