Most people would bite your hand off if you offered them a million dollars for a two-hour appearance. But according to Michael Jordan’s longtime agent, the basketball icon turned down a hundred times that just three years ago.

David Falk spoke to WFAN’s “Boomer and Gio” this week and discussed the kind of marketing deals MJ rebuffed throughout the course of his career. He also revealed having brought the former superstar an opportunity worth $100 million only for him to turn it down.

“I brought him a deal three years ago for $100 million. All he had to do was, other than giving his name and likeness, make a one two-hour appearance to announce the deal and he turned it down,” Falk said. “God bless him. He’s been so successful, it gives him an opportunity to do whatever the hell he wants or not to do things he doesn’t want. I really admire that. He’s very, very selective in the things he wants to be involved in.”

Turning down such a crazy amount for just two hours of one’s time is crazy in itself but it goes to show how particular Mike is when it comes to the types of deals he gets involved in. We imagine it’s also pretty easy to spurn $100 mil when your net worth is $2.1 billion.
