The 76ers show support to the city of Philadelphia during the coronavirus pandemic. Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons showed the way by helping the city.

Now, another Sixers’ star will support the community by donating 500,000 meals. Sixers’ guard/ forward, Josh Richardson, will provide help in response to COVID-19.

During this unprecedented time, NBA teams are supporting the communities with various actions providing for many basic necessities of the population in response to COVID-19.

“I am blessed to be able to provide support during this unprecedented time,” said Richardson. “The City of Philadelphia, the people, and the community have welcomed me with open arms and I will continue to do whatever I can to help as we get through this together,” Richardson said.
