The Chicago Bulls turned down the offers from the Philadelphia 76ers and the Dallas Mavericks for Michael Jordan in the 1984 NBA Draft.

Former Bulls general manager Rod Thorn made this revelation while speaking on Kap + Co. on ESPN 1000.

“We had really strong offers for Michael from both Philadelphia + Dallas. Plus other lesser offers. Couldn’t do it,” Thorn told David Kaplan of ESPN 1000.
