Enes Kanter believes players will need two to three weeks to return to shape and be ready to play, if the NBA resumes the season.
The center of the Boston Celtics also hopes the length of series wouldn’t be shortened if the NBA goes straight to the postseason.
“You can’t just say ‘OK, we’re going to play the games a week later.’ Some players are doing some things. Some players are in their apartments not doing anything.
We need to make sure everybody is doing their stuff and is in good shape to go out there and compete if we jump straight into playoffs,” Kanter said during a conference call with reporters, via Kyle Hightower of the Associated Press.
