Steve Kerr, the head coach of the Golden State Warriors, believes the 2019/20 season is ‘basically over’ for his team.
The NBA has suspended the season for at least 30 days and it is unsure yet when teams will play again.
“Look, for us, our season is basically over. If the league was somehow to start up again, it’s very unlikely we would be playing regular-season games given that they’d be in such a time crunch. Who knows?” Kerr said, via Ali Thanawalla of NBC Sports Bay Area.
The Warriors had the worst record in the NBA prior to the suspension (15-50).
