Joel Embiid took to Twitter and expressed his support for Karl-Anthony Towns and his mother, who is battling the coronavirus.
Towns took to Instagram to post a video telling fans that his mother, Jacqueline Cruz, has been placed in a medically induced coma after she had contracted the virus.
“We’re with you brother!!! We’ll keep praying,” Embiid tweeted.
