Jae Crowder wants to re-sign with the Miami Heat this summer and remain with the team for many years.
Crowder has played only 13 games for the Heat, but the veteran forward already feels at home.
“I really want to make this my home. I feel comfortable here, feel comfortable with the whole organization top to bottom. If everything goes as we plan, I’m sure everybody would like to stay together and build off what we’re doing this year and go into next year with the same mind-set,” Crowder said, via Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.
Crowder is making $7,815,533 this season, the final year of his contract. He signed a five-year, $35 million deal with the Boston Celtics in the summer of 2015.
In 13 games with Miami, Crowder is averaging 11.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
