After winning two big games against the Bucks and the Clippers, respectively, the Lakers were defeated by the Nets at Staples Center, 102-104. Anthony Davis took a buzzer-beater three to win the game, but he missed it.
Former NBA champion Stephen Jackson talked about AD’s shot, saying it’s a shot you want to have at the end of the game.
“That’s the shot you want at the end of the game. You can’t be mad about the Lakers losing this game. They got the shot that they wanted. They should have won that game at home. But they can’t play to the level of your competition in this part of the season.”
