Kenny Atkinson, the former head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, will ‘be back coaching soon’, per Shams Charania and Alex Schiffer of The Athletic.
“Kenny will be back coaching soon,” one source with knowledge of the situation said. “He works too hard. Works his ass off. He will probably take the time away and replay the scenarios and relationships that went wrong — and come back stronger for the job he wants,” Charania and Schiffer report.
Atkinson and the Nets mutually agreed to part ways on Saturday. Atkinson had an 118-190 record during his time with Brooklyn (2016-2020).
