In 2019 Nick Nurse became the first head coach to win both the NBA and NBA G League titles when the Raptors defeated the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 of the NBA Finals and won their first championship in franchise history.
Despite losing Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green after the season on a free transfer, Nick Nurse has already managed to win 46 games and secure a place for the Raptors in the playoffs. No wonder Kendrick Perkins admires Nurse:
