As he now welcomed a new coaching chapter in his life at the side of the Philadelphia 76ers, Nick Nurse didn’t forget to bid a farewell message to the Toronto Raptors and the entire Jurassic Park.
On Friday, Nurse delivered his goodbye words through Instagram, thanking the franchise and the loyal fanbase that stuck with him through thick and thin up North.
Nurse took over as the Raptors’ coach back in the 2018-19 season, eventually leading them to their first title in a magical run that starred the one-year service of Kawhi Leonard.
In the last five regular seasons, Nurse managed to compile a 227-163 record (.582 percent win rate) with the Raptors. The club also stamped a ticket to the playoffs thrice under his leadership.
On Thursday, Nurse was officially named the newest head coach of the 76ers
