The head coach of the LA Clippers Doc Rivers shared his thoughts on his team’s loss to the LA Lakers (112-103).
“I thought the first 4-5 minutes [we were physically dominant], the other 43, I thought it was just them. I thought they were into their gameplan more, they trusted each other more offensively. It’s a good lesson for us,” Rivers told reporters afterwards, per Tomer Azarly of Clutchpoints.
The Clippers saw their six-game winning streak come to an end and dropped to 43-20. For their part, the Lakers won their fourth straight and remained on top of the West with a 49-13 record.
