LaVar Ball joined Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless on Undisputed to talk about his sons, especially 2020 NBA Draft prospect LaMelo Ball. When reminded by Bayless than in 2017 LaVar said his youngest son will be the best, he had an original answer.
He said: “My sons are like phones, I keep making them better and better!” Ball went further to explain what helped LaMelo become a potential number one draft pick. It was his experience in Lithuania when he went from a high school star to sitting on a bench in pro team.
So when he went to play in Australia with Illawarra Hawks this season, it was different since he had already went through the experience. Meanwhile, another draft prospect R.J. Hampton, who went pro this season, struggled with his limited playing time in Australian NBL.
