CSKA Moscow’s Sonny Weems has claimed the Euroleague week two MVP award for his effort of 30 points, three steals and three rebounds in Thursday’s overtime win over Partizan.

That performance earned the former Toronto Raptors forward an index rating of +38, the fifth highest for a CSKA Moscow player in Euroleague history. Weems was the difference maker in overtime, scoring eight points in three minutes to secure a 76-71 road win for the Russian champions.

Weems only missed four shots in the contest and drew six fouls without missing a single foul shot.

Anadolu Efes’ Jordan Farmar was a close second after he led his side to an impressive 98-72 win over reigning champions Olympiacos in Istanbul. The ex-LA Laker and New Jersey Nets guard hit all four of his three-point attempts on his way to an impressive stat line of 25 points, eight rebounds and nine assists wwith an index rating of +36.
