Marcus Morris re-united with Patrick Beverley in Los Angeles after signing with the Clippers. The two previously played together in Houston. When talking about Beverley, Morris remembered the time with the Rockets and praised his defensive ability.
“Played with him in Houston and he was the same player… It’s about winning, being a great teammate. He’s Defensive First Team. Quote me on that because he should be on the First Team,” Morris said.
Beverley is averaging 8.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game for the Clippers this season.
