TalkBasket.net historians have been working hardly to find what extraordinary has happened in the NBA on February 20th. And they’ve found a gem!

On February 20, 2016, Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans achieved his career-high scoring record, making 59 points in 111-106 win over the Pistons. Davis went 24 of 34 from the floor and made his only two 3-pointers. He added nine free throws in 10 attempts. AD also collected 20 rebounds, making an unforgettable double-double.

The previous club scoring record was 50 points by Jamal Mashburn exactly 13 years earlier against the Grizzlies.
