Puerto Rico have comfortably despatched of Jordan 93-52 at the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Caracas.

With their second defeat in as many days, Jordan bow out of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament leaving Puerto Rico and Greece to fight for the last remaining spot tomorrow.

Peter Ramos was a perfect 9/9 from the field and 2/2 from the line, as he led five Puerto Ricans in double digits with 20 points and nine rebounds in only 17 minutes.

For Jordan, forward Osama Daghles was the only one that came to play, scoring 17 points and grabbing seven rebounds but he had no help as Jordan bow out with two heavy defeats.

Puerto Rico began the stronger, racing to a 21-5 lead mid-way through, and they maintained their nice cushion after one, 29-11.

It got worse for the AsiaBasket finalists, as Puerto Rico ran them off the court in transition and scored often, taking a 54-22 lead with them at the half.

With the second half a mere formality, Puerto Rico frequently subbed players in and out, almost in preparation for Greece tomorrow.
