In a normal NCAA season, the spotlight goes to BCS conference: Gonzaga is the biggest ecception, thanks to a strong schedule year in year out and obviously to few, one of the best in this environment

In the freshman class there is Karnowski, who is expected to contribute from day one in a loaded frontcourt which features Sam Dower and German Elias Harris. While his skills with the ball aren’t elite, his fierce playing style coupled with super size and good experience on the court, means that Karnowski should became an household name in little time.

Will Yeguete is an athletic, blue collar forward and a key player for Mark Donovan at Florida next year. His effort should push likely preseason all America Patric Young in the gym, while on the court his quickness should allow him to be a jack of all trade for the Gators. If he can remain healthy, he has a good margin to grow on offense, but his first mission will be defence, defence and again defence.

In the Big Ten will be Amedeo Della Valle, the last of this bunch, but not the least talented. Last season he played at Findlay Prep with basically a college roster with five top 50 player in the class of 2012.

Reportedly every day in the gym was a fight between all of them, and Amedeo held his own drawing up great reviews by coaches and teammates.

This year will not be different for him, because every hour in the super facilities at Columbus will turn out as a battle. Coach Thad Matta will use a slim rotation by year’s end, so every minute in games that Della Valle will be able to get should lead him to gain Matta’s trust for 2013/2014 season, which should be the year for the Italian import to showcase his various talents.
