The Associated Press released its NCAA All-American first team for the 2025/26 season, and the group features a strong freshman presence, as noted by Dave Skretta.

Duke’s Cameron Boozer earned a unanimous selection, joined by fellow freshmen AJ Dybantsa from BYU and Darius Acuff Jr. from Arkansas.

They were rounded out by Texas Tech junior JT Toppin and Michigan senior Yaxel Lendeborg.

Other notable freshmen were also recognized across the remaining teams.

UNC’s Caleb Wilson and Illinois’ Keaton Wagler made the second team, Houston’s Kingston Flemings earned third team honors, and Kansas’ Darryn Peterson received an honorable mention.
