Brooklyn Nets filled a free roster spot by signing Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot to a multi-year deal, according to Shams Charania.

On October 23, 2019, Luwawu-Cabarrot signed a two-way contract with the Nets. On January 15, 2020, the Nets announced that they had signed the 24-year-old Frenchman to a 10-day contract. On January 25 he signed a second 10-day contract with the Nets.

Luwawu-Cabarrot entered the NBA in 2016 after being picked as the 24th overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers. During his NBA career he played for the Sixers, Thunder and the Bulls.
